Could you be Andy Murray’s new doubles partner?
Andy Murray’s on the search for a new doubles partner for a one-off match- and it could be you.
The three-time Grand Slam champion’s hunting for a special person to team up with him against his mum Judy and brother Jamie, ahead of ‘Andy Murray Live’ in Glasgow this November.
Today’s the last chance for people to enter the competition, which closes at midday.
The lucky winner will enjoy a doubles match with the Murrays, receive passes to a hospitality lunch including a Q&A with the players and tickets to the sold-out event at the SSE Hydro.
To enter, hopefuls must film themselves playing keepie-up with a tennis ball and racket for 10 seconds, then upload the video to SSE’s Facebook or Twitter pages with the following message:
@YourSSE I’m ready to #TeamUp with the Murrays for #AMLive17
Judy Murray said: “I’ve really enjoyed getting out on the road in support of the SSE #TeamUp campaign.
“We’ve witnessed some great tennis talent along the way and seen plenty of candidates who would slot comfortably into the coveted doubles spot alongside Andy.
“There’s still time to enter what is a truly unique competition so I’d encourage everyone to pick up a racket and get their keepie-uppie videos recorded and sent to SSE before Monday’s deadline.”
Last years inaugural event raised £350,000 for charity.
