Work begins on Forth Valley College’s new Falkirk campus

Work has officially begun on Forth Valley College’s new Falkirk campus.

Shirley-Anne Somerville, Minister for Further Education, cut the first section of turf at the Middlefield site.

250 people will be involved in the construction, which is expected to cost around £78 million.

The campus, which is due to be completed by late 2019, will house more than 2,000 students.
