Delivery driver could be “key witness” after serious assault of woman in Stirling
Police have issued an appeal for witnesses, after a woman was seriously assaulted in Stirling.
The incident took place in the St Ninians area on Friday 12th October.
Officers say they’re especially keen to speak to a man, believed to be a delivery driver, who helped the woman following the incident.
They believe he may have information that can help with the investigation.
Detective Inspector Hugh Louden of Forth Valley’s Public Protection Unit said, “We are eager to trace a man who we believe to be a key witness.
“He is believed to be a delivery driver travelling in the Springkerse area on Friday night.
“He is described as Asian, with limited English, and drove a dark-coloured vehicle which was possibly a Toyota Avensis.
“He is understood to have helped the woman involved and police believe that he can potentially assist with our ongoing enquiries into this incident.
“I’d ask the man, or anyone who may know who he is, to please contact us as soon as possible.”
