Stirling to London train reinstated
The direct Stirling to London rail service will be restored on Sunday.
L-N-E-R temporarily withdrew the service earlier this year, so they could improve their ‘operational resilience’.
The operator say they’ve completed a series of reliability improvements to their trains.
Stirling MP Stephen Kerr has given us his reaction.
David Horne, Managing Director of LNER says: “We continue to work hard on existing and new initiatives to improve our performance and I’m delighted to announce that we can reinstate our 0526 Stirling to London and 1500 London to Stirling services, especially as we know how valued they are by the local community.
