Pair arrested following Camelon robbery
Two teenagers are due to appear in court later, following a robbery in Camelon.
A man was assaulted while sitting in his car in Fairlie Drive on Wednesday evening.
The 31-year-old also had some personal belongings stolen.
The pair, aged 16 and 17, have also been charged in connection with a shoplifting, which had occurred earlier in the day at a shop in Blinkbonny Road in Falkirk.
A police spokesman said incidents of this nature “will not be tolerated”.
Detective Sergeant Will Hogg from Falkirk CID commented, “Following these incidents, two arrests were swiftly made and we want to make it clear that all forms of acquisitive crime will be robustly dealt with.
“Robbery, shoplifting, theft and housebreaking will not be tolerated and anyone found to be involved in offences of this nature will be brought to account for their actions.”
