Public NHS Forth Valley meeting to take place
People will have the chance to have their say on how NHS Forth Valley’s being run later.
A public meeting’s being held at Forth Valley Royal Hospital today, as part of the health board’s annual review.
Plans will be unveiled on how £17 million of Scottish Government funding to cut waiting times will be used.
Health Secretary Jeane Freeman’s chairing the meeting – with NHS Forth Valley Chief Executive Cathie Cowan also available for questioning.
The session takes place between between 11.30am and 1.00pm. The Public Session, which takes place in the Lecture Theatre at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, is the first Annual Review of NHS Forth Valley to be chaired by Jeane Freeman MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Health and Sport and forms part of a review of the Health Board’s performance for 2017/18.
