Reports show improvements in Falkirk Council home care services
An independent inspection of Falkirk Council’s home care services has found major improvements since May last year.
The Care Inspectorate carried out the re-inspection last month , with users giving feedback they were ‘happy or very happy’.
They also rated the staff ‘top class’ and said the service ‘could not be improved’.
All actions the inspectors had requested were also carried out within the agreed timescales.
Councillor Fiona Collie, spokesperson for Health and Social Care said: “People who use the home care service have reported that they have seen a big improvement in how we work with them over the past months since our last inspection.
“Inspectors are full satisfied that home care users are receiving the right care and support that they are entitled to and we will continue to maintain these high standards.”
