Women left “shaken” after indecent exposure incidents in Stirling
Police in Stirling believe one man is responsible, following a series of indecent exposure incidents in the city centre.
They all happened between 7:50am and 8:50am on Sunday morning, in the Upper Bridge Street and Cowane Street areas.
Officers believe the incidents *are* linked – and also think the same individual is responsible for similar incidents earlier in the year.
The suspect is described as white, aged in his late teen to early twenties, between 5ft 6ins – 8ins tall, and of medium to large build.
He was described as wearing a dark grey baseball cap, a grey sweatshirt possibly with the ‘Nike’ logo on the front, and black cotton shorts.
Inspector Anton Stephenson from Stirling Police Station said, “These events have caused distress to the victims who were uninjured but understandably left shaken by these incidents.
“Cowane Street and Upper Bridge Street are busy areas with shops and local businesses and we’d urge anyone who may have seen a man matching the suspect’s description in this vicinity over the weekend, or who has private CCTV covering these areas, to come forward to assist our inquiries.
“Anyone who may have information to help in identifying and tracing the man involved is asked to contact officers as soon as possible.”
Those with information should contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 1262 of 12 May.
Alternatively an anonymous report can be made to Crimestoppers on 0800 111 555.
