Fountain Park group looking to install accessible play equipment
A Bridge of Allan group is appealing for help – as they look to install accessible play equipment in the town.
‘Bridge of Allan Play Together’ have set up a crowdfunding campaign for a new roundabout in Fountain Park – which can be used by children in wheelchairs.
Jennifer Rutherford’s son Quinns has quadriplegic cerebral palsy – she spoke to Central FM News reporter Andrew Baxter:
Local Councillor Alastair Majury said, “I welcome and fully support the efforts of Bridge of Allan Play Together in their efforts to make Fountain Park a more inclusive experience for all children.
“I would encourage everyone to support this project in order to help demonstrate to Stirling Council that there is a real demand and need for such equipment in our parks.”
