Bid Central is an on-air/online auction which features products from local shops and businesses. It is possible to compare items prices and brand make at the local participating vendor before placing your bid. You can bid on the item on auction in the online page within centralfm.co.uk. You can bid any amount on the item you want and if you are lucky, it will be you who places the winning bid.
The auction begins at 8am on Friday 1 February 2013 and ends at 5pm on Monday 4 February 2013.
Each day on-air we will describe the items available to bid for, and then you must go online to place your bid. We will also have flash sales on-air, which can be sold instantly should you make a telephone bid.
Your bid will be successful should you have the leading bid at the time of the auction closing. As the winning bidder, you are legally bound to your bid at the close of the auction. You will pay online at Paypal, accounts@centralfm.co.uk or by direct credit card at the Central FM office.
Once your bid and payment has been verified, you will be issued with a receipt which will be handed to Central FM office and your goods will be handed over.
This is a fantastic opportunity to purchase a real bargain, whilst having some fun, if you are lucky you could be the owner of some really high quality branded goods or be having a luxury weekend away.
Determine the amount you want to pay, and apply to the online auction page and simply type in the bid and enter your phone number. When the auction for that particular item closes we will contact you and you can make your payment through Paypal or by direct credit card through the Central FM office. Remember to make a bid carefully as you are legally bound to pay that price should you have the winning bid.
