Pakistan Fight Back As England Fall By Lunch

30 Jul 10 - Sports

Pakistan reached 16-1 at lunch on day two of the first test after England collapsed to 354 all-out at Trent Bridge.

England began the day in a commanding position, but their last six wickets fell for just 17 runs from 51 balls.

James Anderson then removed Pakistan captain Salman Butt for 1, but Imran Farhat (9) and Azhar Ali (6) survived to lunch.

Earlier, Mohammad Asif dragged Pakistan back into the contest by taking five for 77, including a spell of four wickets for eight runs during the morning session.
