A Falkirk pensioner who died after her car crashed into a wall and lamppost has been named.

Stirling's door-to-door recycling service - where people use boxes for all of their recyclable goods - is being rolled out to city centre businesses.

The SSPCA are calling for a complete ban on airguns  after two cats were found shot in the Falkirk area - one of which was so badly hurt it died from its injuries.

Police are appealing for information after apparent fly-tipping in Clackmannanshire's Forest Mill area.
