After weeks of hassle from the station cleaner. Gary has decided to shave off his Tin Tin bit at the front
of his hair! In fact as you can see, he went s bit further than that. He is now sporting a number 1 all over.

Central FM wins top award
Central FM, has triumphed at one of the more prestigious UK radio awards ceremonies.
At the Arqiva Radio Industry Awards, held in London, it scooped the highly contested ‘Radio Creative’ award, beating two entries from Global Radio, the biggest radio group in the UK.
The award, presented to programme controller Gary Muircroft, account manager Carole McConnell, plus station manager, Ann Marie Miller, was for its ‘Winter Safe Journey 08/09’ campaign aimed at reducing the number of road traffic offences in the Forth Valley.
The campaign has been running for three years and, during that time, according to Central Scotland Police, the number of deaths, injuries, collisions and drink/drug driving offences have all fallen - including an 80 per cent drop in fatalities.
The judges quoted that the entry from Central FM was a great example of how radio can deliver key messages using several platforms. The entry included creative radio commercials voiced by Taggart’s Alex Norton, direct information commercials voiced by Road Traffic Officers from Central Scotland Police, live presenter reads which included weekly drink driving stats and the targeted news reports to reinforce the campaign”.
Central FM was the only Scottish radio station to collect an award on the evening.
