Body found in Hallglen

The body of a woman has been found in the water in Hallglen.

Police discovered the body at around 1:45pm yesterday near Hallglen Terrace.

The family of missing Jennifer Stephen has been informed.

The death is being treated as unexplained.

A Police Scotland statement said:

"Around 1.45pm on Wednesday, 25 June, 2025, the body of a woman was found in the water near Hallglen Terrace, Hallglen, Falkirk.

Formal identification is yet to take place, however the family of Jennifer Stephen, who was reported missing earlier in the day, has been informed.

The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries ongoing."
