A 26-year-old man is appearing in court today charged with murder, after the death of a man in Sauchie.
Police were called to Gartmorn Road in the early hours of Thursday morning.
40-year-old William Devaney was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family say he will be "sadly missed" and was "loved by all".
Detective Inspector Steven McLean, of the Major Investigation Team, said: "Our thoughts are with William's family and friends at what is an extremely difficult time. We are offering them support as our investigation progresses.
"Extensive enquiries are ongoing and we have a dedicated team of specialist officers working through all lines of enquiry.
"Anyone who believes they may have information which has not yet been passed to police is asked to get in touch as soon as possible.

Chief Inspector Garry Smith, local area commander for Clackmannanshire, said: "Incidents like this in our community are shocking but rare.
