New figures have revealed the amount of money Falkirk Council has made from parking fines.
Data shows Falkirk Council made just over £300,000 from parking fines in the twelve months to September.
That's a rise of nearly 25% from the year before.
The local authority has just introduced charges for pavement parking across the area.
The data comes from a Freedom of Information request by Central FM News.
The Freedom of Information request says:
1) How much revenue did Falkirk Council make from parking fines between
1st September 2023 and 31st August 2024? £243,650.28
2) How much revenue did Falkirk Council make from parking fines between
1st September 2024 and 31st August 2025? £300,866.03
