A foodbank says many people using their services never thought they'd need to reach out for help.
Start Up Stirling have launched their Christmas appeal.
Last year, they provided 500 Christmas dinners and supported 900 people.
The charity is appealing for food donations of coffee, cereal bars and tinned soup.
Needing to turn to help from Start Up Stirling was the reality for one of their service users:
“I never imagined I'd need a food bank. I had always had a comfortable life, no money worries, and a strong support network. Then I lost everything, my marriage, my home - my whole world fell apart overnight. Start Up Stirling was my lifeline. They gave me and my children much more than crisis food. Their kindness helped me rebuild my life again.”
