A 27-year-old man is appearing in court today, after a major incident in Grangemouth on Friday.
Police were called to a disturbance on Portal Road.
Residents were evacuated, with armed police attending the incident.
The man has been arrested in connection with outstanding warrants.
A Police Scotland statement read: “A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with outstanding warrants following a disturbance in Grangemouth.
“Officers, including specialist firearms officers, attended a property on Portal Road around 12.10pm on Friday, April 4, 2025.
“There were no reported injuries.
“The man was arrested and charged and is due to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court on Monday, April 7, 2025.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
