A motorcyclist has died after a crash near Stirling on Christmas Day.
The incident took place at around 2pm on Wednesday on the A811, near Leckie.
The 60-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
His bike collided with a red Audi A7 - the driver was taken to hospital for his injuries.
The road was closed for 10 hours after the incident.
Inspector Andrew Thomson said: "Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died at this difficult time. We will continue to support them throughout the investigation. 
  
"I am now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, and who has not already spoken to officers, to get in touch. 
  
“I would also appeal to anyone who was driving in this area around that time and who may have dash-cam footage which could assist us to contact us.”
