A man is in a critical condition in hospital, after a crash in Cowie yesterday morning.
The incident happened at around 5:55am, near Roundhouse.
A Vauxhall Corsa collided with a Yamaha off-road bike.
The 26-year-old motorcyclist was taken to hospital.
In a statement, Forth Valley Police said:
"Road Policing Officers are appealing for information following a serious road crash in Cowie, near Roundhouse on Monday, 17 January 2022.
Around 5.55am on Monday morning, a 55-year-old man was driving a Vauxhall Corsa on the B9124, Bannockburn Road, when it was involved in a crash with a Yamaha off-road bike being driven by a 26-year-old man.
Police and Ambulance attended and the motorcyclist was taken by Ambulance to Forth Valley Royal Hospital, then later transferred to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh where he is being treated for his injuries. Hospital staff describe his condition as critical.
The driver of the Vauxhall Corsa was uninjured.
Sergeant David Ross of the Road Policing Unit at Stirling is appealing for any witnesses to the crash, or anyone driving on that round around the time of the crash with dash-cam footage to contact officers as soon as possible through 101 with reference number 0408 of 17 January."
