A petition is being presented at Westminster, calling for support and compensation for RAAC-affected homeowners in Tillicoultry.
They've been out of their homes for more than two years after the potentially dangerous concrete was discovered.
Alloa and Grangemouth MP Brian Leishman is presenting a petition from the UK RAAC Campaign Group.
Once presented, the petition will go into the official Parliamentary record, and the Government will be required to issue a response.
The petition is calling on Westminster to:
- Establish a national support and compensation fund
- Launch a public inquiry into RAAC management failures
- Introduce new legislation ensuring liability, transparency, and homeowner protection
- Restore first-time buyer status for affected owners
- Prevent mortgage interest accumulation on condemned properties
