There has been a rise in the number of violent crimes recorded across Stirling.
Data from a Police Scotland report shows 598 were recorded between April and September last year.
That's an increase of more than 25% from the year before.
It includes 5 reported attempted murders, and 36 attacks on emergency service staff.
462 common assaults were logged, as well as 21 crimes classed as "threats and extortion".
Stirling Council will discuss the findings next week.
Chief Inspector Natalie Cook said: “We understand that any rise in crime figures can be of concern, but I want to reassure everyone that the detection and prevention of violent crime and its associated criminality is a local policing priority.
“While policing alone cannot prevent violent crime from occurring, we work closely with our partner agencies to ensure there is a consistent multi-agency approach in tackling violence and disorder. When criminality is identified, we aim to fully investigate and identify those responsible.
“We remain committed to keeping our communities safe and anyone who has any concerns regarding criminality in their area should contact Police Scotland on 101 or 999 in an emergency.”
