Taxi fares across Stirling could rise by nearly 14%.
The local authority is meeting today to discuss the idea.
A report's calling for a hike in prices - blaming rising vehicle and fuel costs.
The changes would mean the minimum price of a taxi would be £3.40.
That would rise to £4 late at night, on Sundays and bank holidays.
Under the proposal, it would cost £12.70 for a five-mile journey in the city.
