Woman in critical condition after Stirling incident

A 23-year-old woman has suffered critical injuries after being hit by a car in Stirling.

Emergency services were called to Airthrey Road at about around 10am yesterday.

She was taken by air ambulance to hospital.

The road was shut for more than four hours after the incident.

Road Policing sergeant Scott Kirkpatrick said: “I’m appealing to anyone who was in the area around the time and saw what happened to get in contact with police.

“I’d also ask drivers with dashcams to please review your footage to see if you’ve captured anything which may assist our investigation.”
