The family of a teenager, who died at University of Stirling accommodation, say his death is "unbearably painful".
18-year-old Ruben Agado passed away at Alexander Court last Friday.
Police say they do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances.
In a statement to The Courier, Ruben's family said:
"Ruben was a brilliant guy: very funny, very intelligent, and with an intense interest in the world around him.
“To have him ripped from our lives so soon, so suddenly, and without any known cause is unbearably painful for us all.
“His absence leaves a massive void that can never be filled."
Professor Kirstie Blair, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities, said: "We are extremely saddened to learn of the death of our student, Ruben Agado.
"Ruben was a first-year student within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities and will be deeply missed by our university community.
"Our thoughts and condolences are with Ruben's family and friends at this difficult time.
