An investigation has been launched after a baby boy died at a house in Grangemouth.
Police were called to an address on Haig Street on Saturday.
The five month old was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital, but passed away.
Officers say inquiries remain ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “On the evening of Saturday, 18 April, 2026, we were made aware of a five-month-old baby having taken unwell at a property on Haig Street in Grangemouth.
“He was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital where he later died.
“Enquiries are ongoing and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
