Body found in Stirling

Police searching for a missing man have found a body in Stirling.

The body of a man was found in a vehicle at Springkerse Retail Park yesterday.

The family of George McCulloch have been made aware.

The death is being treated as unexplained, but not suspicious.

A Police Scotland statement said:

"Officers searching for missing man George McCulloch have found a body in Stirling.

The body of a man was found within a vehicle in Springkerse Retail Park on Thursday, 30 July, 2026.

Formal identification is yet to take place, however George’s family have been made aware.

The death is being treated as unexplained, but not suspicious. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course."
