Falkirk driver clocked at 139mph

A 22-year-old driver has been reported after a police chase in Falkirk.

Officers spotted the Volkswagen Polo GTI driving erratically at the Cadgers Brae Roundabout on Sunday.

Police then followed the car onto the motorway - with speeds of 139mph clocked.

He's been reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

Forth Valley Police say:

"[Officers] were on patrol when they observed a Volkswagen Polo GTI driving erratically at Cadgers Brae Roundabout, Falkirk.

This was followed onto the motorway and observed at speeds of up to 139mph before being stopped.

22-year-old male driver will be reported to the PF."
