Falkirk parking fines revenue revealed

Falkirk Council has made more than £250,000 in parking fines revenue in the last year.

Figures from a Freedom of Information request by Central FM News shows, in the year to August, just under £257,000 was generated in fines.

It's slightly down from the figure from the year before.

The response to the Freedom of Information request from Falkirk Council says:

We are pleased to enclose the information requested, with our response in bold.

"1) How much revenue did Falkirk Council make from parking fines between
1st August 2024 and 31st July 2025? - £285,980.23

 2) How much revenue did Falkirk Council make from parking fines between
1st August 2025 and 31st July 2026? - £256,924.65"
