There has been an increase in the use of temporary traffic lights across Stirling.
Data from a Freedom of Information request from Central FM News shows 723 were in operation in the year to April.
That's up from 632 the year before.
It means there has been an increase in temporary traffic light use across Stirling of 14%.
The response to Central FM's Freedom of Information request by Stirling Council reads:
"1) How many temporary traffic lights were in operation across the Stirling Council area between 1st May 2024 and 30th April 2025?
Total 632
2) How many temporary traffic lights were in operation across the Stirling Council area between 1st May 2025 and 30th April 2026?
Total 723"
