Stirling Council are set to call for a new train station to be built in the city.
A report, which will be discussed by councillors on Thursday, is putting forward plans for a new station in Stirling.
Ideas include a station to the south of Stirling, one near Cornton, or a new station at Causewayhead.
It's in a bid to reduce carbon emissions across the area.
The report will be submitted to Transport Scotland, who will consider it, alongside other nationwide options.
If approved, it could be a decade before a new station is operational.
