Figures from Falkirk Council show more than 1800 assaults on staff were recorded last year.
Over 1300 were reported by teachers, and workers in schools across Falkirk.
The local authority will discuss the figures at a meeting next month.
In total, it is a 520% rise in violent incidents.
A motion has already been put forward by councillor James Bundy, calling for an action plan to reduce violence.
