Rise in Stirling parking fines revenue

Stirling Council has made more than £575,000 in revenue from parking fines in the last year.

That's a rise of more than £80,000 from the previous year.

The local authority raised parking charges across the area in April.

The figures come from a Freedom of Information request by Central FM News.

The response from Stirling Council said:

"1) How much revenue did Stirling Council make from parking fines between 1st August 2024 and 31st July 2025? £494,787

2) How much revenue did Stirling Council make from parking fines between 1st August 2025 and 31st July 2026? £576,116"
