Woman convicted after Falkirk death

A 23-year-old woman has been convicted after the death of a man in Falkirk in June 2022.

21-year-old Jevin Haig was found with fatal injuries at a property in Wright Street.

Dionne Christie was found guilty of culpable homicide at the High Court in Stirling.

She'll be sentenced at a later date.

Detective Inspector Scott Roxburgh, of Police Scotland’s Major investigation Team, said: “We welcome the verdict and hope that it brings some kind of closure for Jevin’s family and friends.

"I would like to thank all officers involved for their dedication and commitment throughout the investigation as well as those members of the public who assisted with our enquiries.”
