A major project begins in Dunblane today.
It's part of a £900,000 investment into improved energy distribution for the town.
SSEN are replacing 8km of underground cables in the town.
Residents are being warned that it will be necessary to either close or partially close the sections of road where, and when, their work will be taking place.
Work be completed over two phases.
Engineers say it will make supplies more "robust".
It will also increase the capacity for EV chargers, heat pumps and other low carbon technology.
