Council tax in Stirling is set to rise by 7.9%.
Stirling Council are to set out their budget later this week.
They're facing a budget gap of £10.8 million.
The local authority needs to plug a funding gap of nearly £37 million by 2031.
Proposals to bridge the gap include a rise in parking charges, dimming street lights, and reducing the number of support for learning staff.
Last year, council tax increased by 8.8%.
The budget document includes potential rises of up to 15%.
