Strathcarron Hospice supports people across Forth Valley, Cumbernauld and Kilsyth living with a life limiting condition. Their teams help to make every moment count for patients and their families, so that they can live well with their illness and make the most of the time they have, and when the time comes, to die well.

As well as In- Patient and Hospice at Home care, their highly skilled multidisciplinary teams include Nursing teams, Patient and Family Support (social work), Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Pharmacist, Chaplains, Complementary Therapists, Consultants in Palliative Medicine and Specialty Doctors.

Strathcarron Hospice needs to raise £15,000 every day to provide these services free of charge to those who need it. The team are very grateful to the Central FM listeners and partners and all the people and businesses across the community who support their work and allow them to continue to deliver their vital services.

Together, Central FM and Strathcarron Hospice have raised over £980,000 since 2018. This amazing amount is made up of hundreds of donations - every penny really does add up. Just £10 can give a hand or foot massage to a patient to relieve stress and anxiety; your £24 can pay for a full hour of nursing care.

Whatever you can manage to donate is very much appreciated and will go straight to patient care right here in the Forth Valley.
