Schools across Clackmannanshire will close today, due to strike action by teachers.
All primary, secondary, and additional needs schools are shut.
Members of three trade unions are walking out in a dispute over pay.
Teachers in Stirling and Falkirk have already staged walkouts.
Two national days of action are planned for 28th February, and 1st March.
A Clacks Council statement says:
"Primary and Secondary Schools (EIS) Stand alone ELCs will remain open (Park ELC, Menstrie ELC, Tulach ELC and Sauchie ELC), as these are staffed by non-teaching staff. Clackmannanshire Council will support families who are free school meal registered and a payment will be made to the parent/carer of each child in February. There will be no school transport for the closed schools and ELCs."
